Ms. Marilyn Aniwa is a Population and Development Specialist with close to 15 years development experience. Ms Aniwa holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Population and Development; a Master of Arts degree in Population Studies and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Archaeology and History.
Previously, Ms. Aniwa was the Executive Director of Union of African Population Studies (UAPS) and before that was In-Country Coordinator at Canadian Parliamentary Centre. She also worked with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) as Development Officer; with the British Council as Assistant Director and was a lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Journalism, teaching Population Communication as an elective subject to student journalists.
Ms. Aniwa is currently Board Chair of ActionAid Ghana. She is a member of the International Development Evaluation Association (IDEAS); Member of the Ghana M & E Forum and Member, Women in Law and Development (WILDAF).
