Mrs. Gillian Hammah (Chief Marketing Officer- Databank Group) was and is still my mentor and I am a Customer Service Representative at Databank; from Internship - National Service Person - Contract Staff.
I persisted, learned and worked to sail through. It was not smooth but was worth adapting and now is a part of me.
Christ focus, balanced life, hard work, humility, reading, Continuous learning, achiever, and confidence is what my mentor stands for and that I am not letting go of one.
This is just the beginning; there are greater hurdles to overcome. The grace will keep us going BUT our story is never complete without God and Mentoring Women Ghana team.
Take advantage of the opportunity and make it happen. The time is now.
Long live MENTORING WOMEN GHANA.
I am grateful to the team for the opportunity.

My Mentorship experience has been awesome. I attended Mentoring Walk when I had to participate in an interview process at the UN Information Center and I clearly needed direction on the activities of the UN in Ghana. My Mentor, Madam Mercy Konadu guided me and I passed the interview. I was invited to have an internship at the UN Information Center in Accra for three months.
My perception about being a diplomat as a women has also changed from being impossible to attain such a status to possible to be who you want to achieve.
Thank you, Mentoring Walk Team.

Thanks to Mentoring Women Ghana, during my shadow week I had the opportunity to sit on an interview panel with my mentor (Angela Dedo Kofi), and the mock interview with Unilever helped me to know presentation is key.

Having met my mentor I've been able to have an open mind with regards to everything and anything I find myself involved with. I've also learned to be courageous and develop myself in many ways. I've been able to support a friend with an NGO (Dinko Surugu Girl Child foundation) which is set up to help educate, motivate, mentor, encourage and empower young girls become prominent people in the near future.
